Nice one! If it has a viewfinder (not only a display), it would be really interesting! Of course, it should have a dial to set aperture/time.
(Maybe something similar is coming in the future, but not as 4/3) Last edited by sjöbjörn; 10.02.2009 at 08:58. |

Well, Olympus is further along this route. Here is a mock up of the Micro 4/3rds camera that should hopefully be coming out in the next 3 months (possibly as early as PMA at the beginning of March - wishful thinking). Bear in mind that this uses the identical sensor to the G1, and can mount M lenses via the current adaptor. Focus via the live view LCD screen. This looks really interesting to me.

Guys,
take a closer look on the original posting - it's from August last year! These images are clearly computer renderings - I think it's a kind of G1 fantasy (but definitely not a D-Lux 5...) Best regards from Bonn Andreas |

Hi Andreas,
Olympus definitely has a mock up, so their past the computer design phase. I have attached an image of one of the executives holding this concept camera (also gives an indication of the size). Thank you for the link to the 4/3rds forum. Regards Andreas |
