schmolinski Posted October 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, I am new here in the forum since I have been infected by the M9 fever, after a quick test at my retailers store. I have an offer for two lenses both used. One, the f/2 28 Summicron apsh. is round about 6 years old Number two is about 15 years old, a f/2 50 Summicron What is each the max. price to pay for when it looks and "feels" like mint condition. Since I am not in an hurry to buy a new M9 I would like to chose my equipment with care. Please, professionals and experienced member give me advice what such lenses are worth to pay for. Thank you in advance!
Advertisement Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Hi schmolinski, Take a look here Access to M9 photographie with the right lenses. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lars_bergquist Posted October 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 10, 2009 I cannot advise you on prices, as these can vary a bit locally, but if you get a decent offer on a 28mm Summicron ASPH and it is in good shape, bite! It is one of the very best lenses Leica have ever made. Are you European? In that case, do some pricing reconaissance at e.g. http://www.leicashop.com. Take into consideration things like a dealer guaranty. The old man from the Age of the 2.8cm Hektor
