Hi,

I am new here in the forum since I have been infected by the M9 fever, after a quick test at my retailers store.

I have an offer for two lenses both used.

One, the f/2 28 Summicron apsh. is round about 6 years old

Number two is about 15 years old, a f/2 50 Summicron

What is each the max. price to pay for when it looks and "feels" like mint condition.

Since I am not in an hurry to buy a new M9 I would like to chose my equipment with care.

Please, professionals and experienced member give me advice what such lenses are worth to pay for.

Thank you in advance!

I cannot advise you on prices, as these can vary a bit locally, but if you get a decent offer on a 28mm Summicron ASPH and it is in good shape, bite! It is one of the very best lenses Leica have ever made.

Are you European? In that case, do some pricing reconaissance at e.g. http://www.leicashop.com. Take into consideration things like a dealer guaranty.

Heyo, thanks for response!

Okay, the f/28 shall be fine, have an idea about the price.

But what with the f/2 50mm Summicron.

is that a €500+ worth?

Thx once again!

every penny when it's ok!

Please check the used prices on our sponsoring dealers, especially the UK ones if you are in Europe. The Euro/Pound exchange rate is very favourable to you now...

ffordes in Scotland also have a huge selection of used Leica lenses.
