vdb Posted October 5, 2009 Share #3 Â Posted October 5, 2009 Very cool. Given the abstract nature, would be awesome in B&W.

vdb Posted October 6, 2009 Share #5 Â Posted October 6, 2009 Philipp, hope you don't mind. I see this as a very soft, glowing reflection and added contrast and very slight pink toning. Just my view of this marvelous image you captured.
leicamann Posted October 7, 2009 Share #6  Posted October 7, 2009 Very cool.. I would personally "develop" this idea much further and "run withthe idea" say..300 or 400 shots and then pick the "best of"..and post them..if you don't, I will because I think your onto something  Cheers, JRM
pop Posted October 7, 2009 Author Share #7 Â Posted October 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Virgil - Â Thank you very much for posting your version here. I am much bemused to see that your design decision took the opposite direction from mine. I love the result very much. Unfortunately, the raw material is not quite up to the standard your version would demand. Â JRM - Â Thank you for your nice comments. If you want to develop this idea any further, please do so and let us see your results. I have to confess that the picture which I posted here was to salvage an otherwise quite rotten shot. The bloody bird had walked a few steps too far such that its head was mostly hidden behind some foliage by the time I had released the shutter. Some birds simply won't cooperate.
