jaapv Posted November 23, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M8 did this twice in 300 shots. Leica Customer service response was excellent, they will honour the guarantee and the camera certainly does not make a habit of it. So this is not a complaint nor in any way an "issue" . But what the.... is it?

robsteve Posted November 23, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 23, 2006 Sometimes when digital cameras do odd things it is related to either the memory card or the battery. Is the SD card on the Leica approved card list? Was the battery getting low when you took this picture?

So it's just the death ray you're concerned about? Yes- the rainbow was the subject. The colours of the shot - I don't even recall if I set a profile in C1, so those don't count either. pascal_meheut Posted November 23, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 23, 2006 The problem occurs sometimes when you shoot a picture just after turning the camera on. It is quite rare and only a few M8 have it. Send it back to Solms.

It is quite rare and only a few M8 have it. Send it back to Solms. I already communicated with Solms - no problem. I'll have it seen to at the same time the sensor issue will be fixed - seeing my agenda sometime in March or April. But what is happening?....
