Peter41951 Posted November 23, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 23, 2006 Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to see that my 135mm won't be redundant for the M8. Did you use the magnifier?
billh Posted November 23, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 23, 2006 Here is a full M8 frame with the APO135 f3.4 (at f4.0). I filled the bright center rangefinder patch from left to right with the lenses you see in the photo. I was curious to see how much additional area was captured. You should be able to get a sense of that from this photo.

Sandokan Posted November 23, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 23, 2006 Sorry mate, but the first shot is good proof that sometimes you should use a wide angle and step back. And back. And back !

nealf Posted November 23, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted November 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Peter, Didn't use a magnifier to focus just the straight rangefinder. Not the most complementary shot but it does show how sharp the ole Elmar is and just how good it does on the M8. NF
