pauledell Posted September 23, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 23, 2009 Mike, A great shot. You ought to find some way to transport that adorable critter to Virgil's ranch. Paul

stuny Posted September 23, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mike - As well as being excellent in every way, those who don't know wart hog behavior cannot appreciate the relative rarity of being able to capture one relatively closely facing you, rather than its running off. michali Posted September 24, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted September 24, 2009 Gentlemen- thank you very much for the comments and feedback, much appreciated. Mike - As well as being excellent in every way, those who don't know wart hog behavior cannot appreciate the relative rarity of being able to capture one relatively closely facing you, rather than its running off. Stuart- Thank you, this is probably the first time I've managed to get a shot of a warthog so close and facing me, rather than a shot of his backside scampering off with tail in the air. This fellow was incredibly curious, so much so that I got out the Land Rover and sat down waiting to see what he would do........
