DMR: DNG: Media Expression

Hey Folks,

Do any of you use Microsoft Expression Media for browsing/sorting your digi-files? It's what I use and I usually like it, but I haven't discovered how to make it show large previews of DNG files from my R8/DMR yet. Does anyone have a tip on how to do that? Thanks much!

Troy - it was the first browser I used way back. I was never able to get large previews from DNG files. For that and other reasons, including its subsequent purchase and neglect by Microsoft, I left it behind. I much prefer using Lightroom as DAM software or even Bridge although the latter is only a browser ( it shows DMR DNGs properly...)

Same for me. I liked the software when it was I-view. Microsoft bodged up the update process, and it was useless for DNG. Switched over to Lightroom and have not looked back

Same here. It seemed to be going nowhere once Microsoft took it over, and I also eventually switched to Lightroom.
