Shootist Posted September 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) On my way back from my vacation back in the beginning of September I was traveling the back roads of Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland when I came into a small town that had the road blocked off. They were having a car show. So I figured I'd stop and taken some pictures. Ater see the posts from the Goodwood Revival I figured I post some here. Hope you like them. All shot with M8 & 28 Elmarit ASPH. Advertisement Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Hi Shootist, Take a look here USA Cars. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
storybrown Posted September 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 22, 2009 These summer car shows -- populated especially by hot rodders & vintage car collectors of a certain age -- are not unusual in lots of small towns all over the country - usually all day, but sometimes morning or afternoon only; sometimes there's a parade. Anyway, these are nice shots, & a couple of really nice cars . . . Here are some less excellent similar snaps from a small West Texas town show a couple of months ago . . . storybrown Posted September 23, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 23, 2009 I like the black Essex (?) -- the sign says "Rare," which it doubtless is -- and the chopped green coupe. These shows always have something interesting & this is prolly even truer in West Va than most places: . . .
