Sorry for having been slightly sarcastic bixi, but you were asking for it.

Hopte to see future works of yours and keep us up to speed how you get along with the cam.

Guess I'm just jealous that you can shoot shots with the M9 I'd argue with my wife about!

Dan - Really? Was I asking for "it"? Anyway, I really appreciate you saying this. Now I'm feeling much better! :D

I like very much the first one. There is a quite nice suspended mood in it.

The second one is less interesting IMO, but out of focus pictures with lenses that render a stunning out of focus is not all that wrong... :D

Welcome to the forum.

Hi Enrico! Thanks for your comment on my photos and thanks for welcoming me. Cheers, Bixi

No, no Jaap they need a 1.33 crop to show the sweetspot of the lens* ;)

I like these images Bixi - well done!

*(kidding people, kidding)

And I like how you write! Be good, Bixi

Hello again,

I appreciate all of your thoughts and comments. I don't necessary agree with all of them. But I do see that these images are misplaced in this forum. I guess that I just got all excited since I'm new here. I'm learning the rules. Yes I'm learning ...

the ultimate test of a camera is whether or not it improves your pics. Your pics based on the things and techniques you shoot.

Not on technical specs that have nothing to do with your photography.

The second shot simply *looks* OOF. But the first shot is kind of cool. That one bright spot in the lower middle kind of bugs me a little though.

Double Negative -

Yes. I agree with you. The first image is stronger than the second. And I also agree with youthat the bright spot bugs me.

I wouldn't post these two images on this forum anymore. I learnt my lesson in my first post! In the last couple of days I shot some more interesting images. I need to update my website soon.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts.

Cheers,

Bixi

So, is this a joke or are you going to post more images?

BTW, let's post some images with EXIF data.

arthury - I'm not sure if this is a joke :D but still - you can see more images taken with my M9. Ten of them you can see here (look for Bixi):

LFI Gallery - M9 Master Shots

Or you can go here to the Leica M9 section:

Best, Bixi
