Advertisement Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Hi toke, Take a look here I have M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
toke Posted September 10, 2009 Author Share #102 Posted September 10, 2009 M9 with Sandisk ultra ii can shoot 6-7 frames in sequence, before it starts data transfer..... Both in jpg and in DNG mode.... Maybe a faster card is better? I have experinced NO funny stuff from the elctronics so far :-) And i had a lot with the M8 classic! Overgaard Posted September 10, 2009 Share #103 Posted September 10, 2009 According to Leica official FAQ that's the fastest card, "ultra." I've ordered some 16GB Ultra and will try and compare with the Extreme III I have. It doesn't make totally sense that the slower card is faster than the faster one. http://media.leica-camera.com/res/dnl/en/leica_m9_faq_en.pdf

Overgaard Posted September 10, 2009 Share #107 Posted September 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) That is very, very strange. It is, except they don't explain what the ++ and + and - marks mean, except that ++ seems to be better than + and - is minus (not working?). They should revise it and get rid of the the errors in there as well.

andybarton Posted September 10, 2009 Share #110 Posted September 10, 2009 I really, really hope that Leica haven't been to Kodak and said that they like the monster reds that Ektar gives, can they have a sensor that mimics this red-look... Good grief... These people look like they have been out in the sun for an hour too long. Not a good look...

stunsworth Posted September 10, 2009 Share #112 Posted September 10, 2009 Andy, it could be due to the lack of a proper profile for the M9. If I bought an M9 tomorrow the first thing I'd do would be to create a profile using the tool that Adobe provide. I've opened up a few M9 DNGs and Lightroom doesn't have any kind of M9 profile. vikasmg Posted September 10, 2009 Share #113 Posted September 10, 2009 now iso 2500 still 35mm 1.4 asph all as shot auto wb, only a little shapening when opened in cs3 raw converter. I know the shots can look better if done seperately in shop, but for now I just upload..... That actually looks quite good for ISO 2500. Are you sure there's no mistake? - Vikas

earleygallery Posted September 10, 2009 Share #116 Posted September 10, 2009 I really, really hope that Leica haven't been to Kodak and said that they like the monster reds that Ektar gives, can they have a sensor that mimics this red-look... Good grief... These people look like they have been out in the sun for an hour too long. Not a good look... I've noticed the rather red skin tones in most of the images posted here and elsewhere so far. Hmmm.......
stunsworth Posted September 10, 2009 Share #117 Posted September 10, 2009 Andy, firmware 1.0+ is already out, but I think the problem lies with the fact that Kodak have specifically mentioned that the way reds are handled by the sensor has changed. Which is why they may need an M9 specific profile to be processed well.
