efftee Posted September 9, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 9, 2009 Oh if it's not too much to ask, put it through some rigorous test -- shooting C, max bracketing, etc, and see if it is also operationally dependable.

graeme_hutton Posted September 9, 2009 Share #14 Posted September 9, 2009 M8/M9 That step in the top plate is a curiosity and perhaps a bit clumsy - A redundant throwback to the position of the film rewind?. The M8 resolves this better IMHO. Graeme
Jamie Roberts Posted September 9, 2009 Share #15 Posted September 9, 2009 Ok--that's done A pretty brilliant ISO 2500 in my view Thanks!
UliWer Posted September 9, 2009 Share #16 Posted September 9, 2009 now iso 2500 still 35mm 1.4 asph all as shot auto wb, only a little shapening when opened in cs3 raw converter. I know the shots can look better if done seperately in shop, but for now I just upload..... You are sure it was not ISO 25O? Sorry for the remark, but i always ruled out taking photos at this high iso. When I see your photos, I cannot find any reason for my restriction. What I saw on some websites looked much worse than yours. Can you tell us something about the portrait with strong sunlight? I see some magenta on the lower parts of the women's clothing (bag?) but none in the center of the photo where it should appear as well, if the situation was magenta-prone.-
lxlim Posted September 9, 2009 Share #17 Posted September 9, 2009 Tones look really good for ISO2500.

leica007 Posted September 9, 2009 Share #19 Posted September 9, 2009 2500 iso samples here are brilliant in brilliant sunlight. in shades - the noise is very much there. M9 needs a firmware update to get a noise free 2500 iso. no matter how hapy we are, we are still looking at a £4850/$7000 camera - in the highest price bracket for DSLR.
