pascal_meheut Posted September 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been able to shoot a few pictures with the M9. This was just a quick try so nothing I'll say here is definitive. - It looks like a M8.2 and it seems it can share the handgrip and the batteries - Apparently, noise is really low at 1250 ISO, something like 320 ISO on the M8. 2000 ISO is clean too and 2500 ISO more noisy. - But a new firmware is already available and supposed to improve high-ISOs. - I'm not sure that IR filtering is perfect. Better than the M8 but when shooting nylon backpacks under halogen light, some of them were not as black as they should have been. Nothing to worry or get nervous about yet as I checked this quickly on the camera monitor only. I'm sure others and especially professional reviewers who had the camera for some time now will have more detailled and useful things to say about it. In the meantime, I'm waiting for mine and hope it will arrive soon.

Just that its sharp is a major achievement. Sandy
