Looking for a reliable B&W Processor in USA

I know I should "roll my own", and that this question has been asked before but I'm seeking current advice on a high-quality, reliable film processor in the US.

The processing situation seems to change monthly. The local place that did my E6 and C41 stuff suddenly closed its doors. Another place that did my B&W stuff exhibits a steady drop in quality (spotty, dirty film) and I expect it to be gone too.

Any suggestions?

The decline in standards of processing isn't something I considered with the onslaught of digital. I've had many problems with badly processed films recently and in one case ruined film. Some have been 1hr photo shops and others so called pro labs.

So....certainly for B&W I've started to process my own again, its so quick and convenient I don't see the point in farming it out - want to progress to C41 too.

I did just have a roll of Kodachrome back from A trusted name in photo processing for over 50 years - Dwayne's Photo and I see they do other services too, and they've yet to lose or spoil one of my films!

James,

Thanks for the link. I see they do B&W too.

Well the embarrassing thing is that I have the stuff needed to process at home. Just need fresh chemicals.

No excuses for me. Guess I'll just shoot a roll and get with it. :o

Also, Panda Photographic Lab, Inc. (Seattle).

Also consider dr5.com in Denver. They also do amazing reversal processing on most B&W neg film. Then, you can project them (that's what I do). Amazing results!
