I last bought a book : german autor, photos made with a swedish named camera made in Japan, printed in China, publisher in New Zealand, bound in Italy. Certainly, the X1 looks to be a very interesting and viable concept. I didn't see aperture markings on the lens barrel... but.. could this be a successor to our beloved Digilux 2? I would have said the same if he had been Icelandic, Ecuadorian or Australian - Leica are a German company and I can't imagine Vietnam being a huge market for them. Stop jumping at shadows, eh?
