How about a D-Lux-4 Forum?

No, it's not. It's a tiny sensor point and shoot:eek:;).

Seriously, some form of forum for 'Digital Others', 'PanaLeica's' or 'P&S' has been suggested many times, but not taken up. Might as well wait for 9 September now though, Andreas might have some serious reorganising to do afterwards....

The noticeable segregation is interesting. My preference would lean towards no subcategories under the digital forum. I like reading about all the cameras without the need to access different forums. The Pany/Leica models are treated like distant cousins to the German-made Leica. Does it make a person yearn for the German-made product?

There is no segregation in the photos section and that's where I would appreciate knowing what camera was used to create the picture.

Dear bluebear

For what reason do you propose this? What do you dislike?

The Digilux-4 is a camera with many pros and a few contras.

Perhaps you give us/it a try for some months.

Jan

PS

Just look at the subjects!

Digilux 2 in wood (a museum piece?)

Digilux 2+3 compared to new entry level ... (Digilux-4?)

Digilux 2 totally dead

Is the Digilux 3 gone

Is the Clux 3 too insignificant here

So it is a Digilux-4 thread already!

some confusion Jan ... caused by abbreviating "Digilux 4" to "D-Lux 4" or similar, when others (myself included) are referring to the D-Lux 4 camera. Would be better that a ruling be imposed that henceforth reference to the Digilux range should show the name written in full, so avoid confusion with the D-Lux range. It has happened before, and I daresay it will happen again .....

(As you may already know, there is a (seemingly neglected) D-Lux4 Social Group to be found by clicking on Community)
