elansprint72 Posted November 18, 2006 Share #11 Posted November 18, 2006 Apart from the colours, what stands out here is the lack of flare in the lens. Thanks for showing.

kamilsukun Posted November 19, 2006 Share #15 Posted November 19, 2006 Congratulations Hans-Peter, Beautiful sky. Beautiful photograph. D3 looks like a successful camera. I wish you many happy shootings with your new camera. Few questions if I may? Was the image post processed. Raw or JPEG Thanks for sharing..
HPS3000 Posted November 19, 2006 Author Share #16 Posted November 19, 2006 Was the image post processed.Raw or JPEG No trouble :-) - I used a "normal" workflow: RAW > PE5 > JPG (max. Quality) > JPG (Web) The *.jpg files generated by the camera are not bad, but lack a certain feeling - like the last touch is missing. I use the generated *.jpgs mainly for a first review and selection - the actual picture is created from ist *.raw file. Greetings HP

HPS3000 Posted November 20, 2006 Author Share #18 Posted November 20, 2006 you also use a Pentax? In your answer you say "the actual picture is created from ist *.raw file" I’m sorry if my last post was somewhat confusing. I actually meant that the picture published in the forum was generated from a RAW-file. And no, I don’t have or had a Pentax *smile* ... I was more a Minolta-kind-a-guy.
