Advertisement Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Hi Knorp, Take a look here D-LUX 3 Owner's Name . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ECliffordSmith Posted November 17, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 17, 2006 Hi Bart, Is this supposed to be a feature? I have the D-LUX2 and this I dont think it is possible on that camera. Good luck! Ed
cbretteville Posted November 17, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 17, 2006 To do this with the D2 I had to use the remote control software that came with the camera - this info wasn't really published anywhere, someone of the forum figured it out. As both cameras are made by Panasonic, it might something similar for the D-L3. I suggest you check the software CDs that came in the box. - Carl
chouhsin Posted November 17, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 17, 2006 Carl, Do you mean you can configure the photographer's name in D2 with the software? Or you must use the software to take photo with your name? (I don't know if I am clear with my question....) Hsin
cbretteville Posted November 17, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 17, 2006 Hsin, Using the remote control program for the D2 you can set the owner's name the camera must be tethered to the PC using an USB cable. I recall it being less than intuitive how you do it, but yes it can be done. Comes out like this in the exif data: Search the old forum, more info should be buerried there. - Carl
Knorp Posted November 17, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 17, 2006 There is no such 'interface' software included only Adobe Photoshop Elements.

miami91 Posted November 17, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 17, 2006 Michiel, I believe its listed in the EXIF data of any image you take with the camera. If you're asking whether it's displayed in any of the menu settings, I'm not sure. Jeff.
