ddp Posted November 20, 2006 Author Share #21 Posted November 20, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Brent, it's actually the 35 lux Aspherical (v.1)I have, but from what I have heard, the fingerprints are very, very similar. It really comes down to texture as you noted. Digital can be creamy or hi-def looking...but film gives you velvet sometimes. As some like to say, horses for courses. Advertisement Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Hi ddp, Take a look here Steamtown. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
norbertnl Posted November 20, 2006 Share #22 Posted November 20, 2006 Dan, I specially like the two last shots. The more I photograph in colour, the more I prefer the subtle light inside buildings or vehicles or at the beginning/end of the day to direct sunlight during the day. The old railway material looks awesome.... Best regards, Norbert
ddp Posted November 20, 2006 Author Share #23 Posted November 20, 2006 Do you do your own scanning? Andy, I usually take care of the scanning on my end. In this case, these were scanned at the time of developing by my lab. I was more than satisfied by the results.
