topoxforddoc Posted August 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 13, 2009 Henry, If you're shooting mono, why don't you just DIY it. It's dead easy (even my 8 year old can do it) and dirt cheap - 50p a roll to develop. ILFORD PHOTO - Processing a Black & White film Charlie
Dedalus Posted August 13, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted August 13, 2009 thanks Charlie, I'm still not confident enough, rather manually challenged:D:D:D but thanks for the guide, I'll try it for sure at some point! Manuel
stunsworth Posted August 13, 2009 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2009 If you're shooting mono, why don't you just DIY it That's what I did when I lived in Paris. Use de-mineralised water for the developer and final rinse, especially the rinse, to avoid marks on the negatives.
alman1 Posted August 14, 2009 Share #7 Posted August 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Negatif+ is a not too expensive, semi professional lab in Paris, i mean still affordable. There are some others, better but very expensive, search for Picto, Dupon. To buy films, the cheapest i found in Paris is : photostock

It is better to develop oneself. I develop all my b&w films at home in my personal laboratory Thank you for your proposal. I just wanted to answer question of Manuel which is going to come to Paris But if he can make it itself it would be better Regards Henry PS: All my products come from Ilford. It's a good brand for photo products.
