Advertisement Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Hi Alan Philpotts, Take a look here Dill. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
StFreud Posted August 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 10, 2009 It´s a bit like a graphic. I like it. We have Dill in our garden too and sometimes there are caterpillars of the swallowtail on it. They are so pretty. Have you too? Stefan
Alan Philpotts Posted August 10, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted August 10, 2009 Stefan - Thanks for the kind comment. Unfortunately, we have no swallowtail caterpillars on our dill - what an opportunity that could be! In the UK swallowtails are very rare. StFreud Posted August 10, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 10, 2009 Thanks Alan. In our garden it is different from year to year. In one year I counted up to ca. 10 and in this year I saw only 2 caterpillars. But basically they are on the carrots. So I should send you 1 or 2 next year;) Stefan
Alan Philpotts Posted August 10, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted August 10, 2009 So I should send you 1 or 2 next year;) Stefan - Thanks for the offer, but is that 1 or 2 carrots or 1 or 2 caterpillars? (Actually, I think I would probably prefer the carrots ) Let's hope that both our gardens give us many more photo opportunities this year!
