samwells Posted July 30, 2009 Share #6 Posted July 30, 2009 Philipp: number 3 is fascinatingly surreal, like a scene from a dadaist horror movie...will the Martian monster catch the fleeing bird? :-) Nicely seen! cheers: Sam
vdb Posted August 1, 2009 Share #7 Posted August 1, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice series Philipp. #1 being my favorite. Well composed, sharp with great detail and colors. Great use of the 35 lux. I also like the last one for composition and unusual industrial mood. I would play with B&W conversion...
David Monkhouse Posted August 1, 2009 Share #8 Posted August 1, 2009 an excellent series...
pop Posted August 3, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted August 3, 2009 Sam, Virgil and David Thank you for taking the time to comment my pictures. I must say that I am utterly impressed by the 35mm summilux. I bought it off eBay, detected that it was in a less than impressive state and had it practically re-built. Now it is sparkling, so to speak. The lens cleanly depicted the sunlight in the oil tank where I only saw an indescribable glare. Lens 1, eyes 0.
