Thank you. I'm sure it could do those things, but I'm also sure you could hire people to do them for you for the next couple of hundred years, and still have change in your pocket for what this think must cost.

I did a shoot for a magazine of the Rover at JPL a few years ago. They had it in a simulated landscape (basically a garage with sand, rock, and camouflage netting spread around) and were running test scenarios to try and overcome problems (a broken wheel) they were having with the vehicles on Mars. It was pretty neat to see it like that. Even got to see the video feed they had going

Morgan - Thank you. I'm jealous. Years ago a friend and I drove around North America one summer, and spent a couple of days with my friend's brother, a physics prof at USC during the day, and JPL consultant at other times. He saw some mega-neat stuff, too.
