Taken this saturday in fast food.

How do you know he's "lonely"?

 

If he were younger, less wrinkly, and better-dressed, might you instead have assumed he was "introspective" or "in a reverie" or simply that his lunch date was late?

@ aj37, I’m assuming as you are assuming is not and if he was waiting for someone he didn’t look around or been impatient, and don’t think it is about the way he’s dress, it’s just the feeling I’ve got when I looked at him, I may be wrong but that was the feeling that crossed me.

Among your best. Wondnerful face on the subject, fabulous how the geometrics and framing greatly enhance the image, and I really like the way the window light models his face much as Vermeer painted in his secular pictures. Please keep posting
