Advertisement Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Hi ryee3, Take a look here monitor calibration. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
antistatic Posted July 24, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2009 I find Color Munki pretty good as you can also do custom profiles for your printer with the same device. I knew next to nothing about colour management and I had no trouble getting the Munki to work out of the box. I've not used other products.
esquire53 Posted July 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2009 Is there a favorite monitor calibration device and software I should invest in. Thanks for your thoughts. hueyPRO works fine with Apple Mac and HD screens
gwelland Posted July 27, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 27, 2009 I love my ColorMunki - very easy to use and portable too. Highly recommended. The hueyPro is ok but be careful if you buy one pre-owned because they did have a color cast problem initially. I used this before I got the ColorMunki and it's nice and small and portable. haroldp Posted July 30, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 30, 2009 I use the Spyder 2 pro on apple and windows. Screens match prints quite closely when using correct profiles for printing. I am sure other spectrometers also work well. Calibrating the monitor is th most important thing you can do. Editing is a waste of time without it. Regards ...
