Overgaard Posted November 13, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 13, 2006 That's a great picture. Despite everything said about the M8, I've seen a couple of examples today that show me the M8 to be a very inspiring camera to take pictures with. What actually strikes me by this great shot and the other I saw earlier (with a baby in his fathers hands) is that it doesn't look like the digital style but something deeper. It's impressing. marco_rol Posted November 13, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 13, 2006 Tim, Nice shot. I agree that it is not very 'digital' and, dare I say, rather 'film-like'. I have an M8 on order and am considering cancelling based on all the problems that have surfaced over the last week, but seeing shots like this (and the ones Marc Williams posted earlier with the couple and baby) leaves me further undecided. I guess that I'll just wait and see how things play out. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this photo.
MrEd Posted November 14, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 14, 2006 Hi Tim, I thought I never say this: I'm actually impressed with the images I've seen from the M8, and this is one of them. Great shot. Thanks for sharing. Ed. .
blovitch Posted November 14, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 14, 2006 Thanks for the comments.... I have enjoyed shooting with the M8...Fingers crossed for a speedy resolution, having got so attached to it so quickly, it may be a wrench if / when it has to go back to the factory for a little tweaking. -Tim
