It would be a side or inside entrance to a Bell Tower up in Beijing, back in the days I used to live in Jiangsu. While ago. Its a bit more open these days, or at least for westerners it feels a bit more accommodating I gather, though it always used to be open enough if you didnt saddle yourself with the perceptions, misconceptions and the mistrusts of people who never set foot in the place.
