elansprint72 Posted July 4, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted July 4, 2006 Not sure what FFR means, but here is an FRF! Most of the folks there were worse than sick, they were certifiable. Cheers, Pete.

stunsworth Posted March 15, 2007 Share #12 Posted March 15, 2007 Any colour you want as long as it's green <grin> At least those old ones had character. Mind you a mate of mine used to have one (bought from a stud farm!). And I remember being sat in the back on the wheel arch when he decided to go off road for a hundred yards or so. A bit painful on the old rear end.

stuny Posted March 20, 2007 Share #15 Posted March 20, 2007 Pete - Terrific series, and really nice depth and DOF. The FRF is not a 100 point restoration, is it?
elansprint72 Posted March 20, 2007 Author Share #16 Posted March 20, 2007 Pete - Terrific series, and really nice depth and DOF. The FRF is not a 100 point restoration, is it? Ha! No, well-patinated but useable, as they would say in Hemmings. I only just noticed the mystery hand on the roof. wrt DoF, I love using long lenses, must be a motor-sports thing; these days there is no need to tote a half yard of pipe around; the 420mm of the FZ-30 (and now V-Lux1) are so small and handy. I'm sure that my bad back was partially caused by many years of carting 2x Novoflex lenses and 3 bodies- why did I need 3 bodies? Because I could only squeeze 40 frames from each self-loaded roll and always missed the mid-race money-shot if I had to change a film. No worries with 2gB cards.
