chuckw Posted June 26, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 26, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a fairly new purchaser of an M8 and the package included a copy of Capture One. I have not installed the included copy on my computer because I already have Capture One Pro. However I have been wondering lately whether the Leica supplied copy might include any special configuration files not otherwise available directly from Phase One. Does anyone know if the Leica supplied copy of Capture One is the same as the one normally sold by Phase One - that is without any special configuration files? Advertisement Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Hi chuckw, Take a look here Capture One and the M8.2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
delander † Posted June 26, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2009 I dont think the Leica version is special, I'm assuming your pro version recognises the M8 files. Presumably you have updated to the latest ver 4.8 Jeff

Jamie Roberts Posted June 26, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 26, 2009 Thanks for the replies. I am using the latest version (4.8.1) of C1 Pro. That's the one you want to use for the M8.2. Remember though if you're shooting with UV/IR filters make sure you use the right profile!

Never seen any differences between the Generic and Generic UV-IR profile.

Checked it with some indoor photos where I had problems with correcting the colour. With the UV-IR profile it looks better.
