Rolo Posted June 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not like me to shoot flowers, but I was pleased with this one. I need to get a book to discover the names, or speak to my wife. Ha. Rolo

stunsworth Posted June 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 25, 2009 I need to get a book to discover the names... I believe the correct name for them is "yellow ones".
hodimeyer Posted June 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 25, 2009 ... however "yellow" - or - "orange" ones - beautiful colours and different focus on details. Looks very fine ! All the best Horst Dieter

Rolo Posted June 26, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted June 26, 2009 Simply superb Rolo. Any details shall be appreciated. Thanks chaps. Appreciated. Azzo, details: It's a crop from a full frame as shown here. Hand held; focussed on the middle stamen with my 75mm Summilux M at minimum close focus distance and wide open at f1.4. Can say that I was surprised with the effect of the lens and the sharpness of the 75mm at such close distance. Pleasantly surprised, which is why I posted it, I suppose. Shutter speed was 1/1,000 sec and 160 ISO. Rolo
