Damn, I'm really getting old... not only I didn't know he's a singer, not only in 2 minutes I discovered he's well known in Italy... he's also going to make a concert in my town next days !!!

... is terrible to have crossed the 50 years border.... :(

I mean really, who gives a care as to what camera Lenny Kravitz or any other personality uses?

Pretty much everyone in this thread, apart from you.

I don't see any particular reason to moan around in threads you aren't interested in. Just move on to something that does interest you.

i have to admit that i would not have been able to put a name to his face, nor recall any of his music, the fact he uses this pretty M-thing puts him on the map - i think the M8 is the only thing that readers of this forum have in common...

Am I wrong or Lenny's camera wear a gorgeous crocodile skin vulcnite?

Probably from Prada...

Besides that, what I like in this picture is the fairness doctrine with the main western religions... Anyone is sponsored :D

Only in this forum could a question about which lens is on a camera turn into a dispute about tolerance, and religion. :D (I'm putting my Kevlar bra on now, just in case.... )

That's why LUF is fun !!! Add that I was one of the first to jump in, making deep considerations on the lens, the DOF scale... :o and even hadn't idea of WHO was this Mr. Kravitz !!! :D at least, I learned who is him...

EHM... good question for me, expecially for I confess I DO NOT KNOW who is Lenny Kravitz.... :o is he a singer, an actor ? In Italy I think his name isn't so much reknown... anyway, I'll give a look in Google...

he must be famous - he uses an M8!!

Just as interesting to observe is that most press photographers today use Canon.

I use Canon, but only to photocopy. Every time I press the button I go off into a reverie, dreaming that I am a press photographer...

Regards,

Bill

Hey, any pictures? I'd like to see that. :D

Why does this fellow wear sunglasses indoors? If he has an eye problem, maybe he should get a camera with a waist-level finder?

I'm so glad that I campaigned, so vociferously, in the early days for a discrete M8 forum, btw.

Think 'Barb Wire' and then add a large dose of ugly. ;)

Hmmm. A waist-level finder. Now THAT is something to add to my M9 wishlist.

I have a waist level finder on my little yashica t4 (the best point and shoot film camera ever!) and use it all the time. It is great for candid work. Only thing is auto focus is almost a necessity because the viewfinder is extremely small.
