Iansky Posted June 21, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I took this today at Kemble airshow in Glos, it is a great venue with older aircraft rather than new - however the Army Air Corps displayed the Apache. I voverted it to B&W as I feel it adds to the menace of the aircraft! Taken with the M8.2 and 90mm f2.8 Elmarit.

pauledell Posted June 23, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 23, 2009 Outstanding capture of an ominous aircraft. Your dark tones emphasize that very well. Well framed. Paul

Iansky Posted June 23, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted June 23, 2009 Thanks to one and all for the nice feedback. It is one mean machine and it is only when you are up close that you realise how large it is (same length as a Chinook). I would not want to get on the wrong end of that and it was amazing to watch the gunner rotate the 30mm cannon on takeoff as he scanned for obstacles - super fast!!
