}{B Posted June 22, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted June 22, 2009 Thanks for all your comments. The tree is one of a number of dead trees just off the shoreline of Loch Assynt in north west Scotland. Their trunks are almost silver and when the sun catches them from the west in the late afternoon or evening they stand out against what can sometimes be a dark eastern sky. I've not yet managed to capture a shot when they have been lit like that but this photo was taken on a sunny day with some spectacular cloud formations which I wanted to include in the shot.
