gfspencer Posted June 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) A little levity from the otherwise serious nature of Leica photography . . . As I stated in another thread, the Red Dot came off one of my lenses. I found it in the bottom of my camera bag (Billingham Alice Bag) and glued it back on the lens. Yesterday I decided to clean out my camera bag and there was another Red Dot. (So there were two Red Dots in the bottom of the bag.) The bag was new when I bought it (or it was supposed to be) and all my other lenses still have their Red Dots so my bag must be a breeding ground for Red Dots. earleygallery Posted June 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2009 For a more individual look you can replace the red dots with ladybirds, superglue works very well on them!
jaapv Posted June 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 19, 2009 You think something like this?
elansprint72 Posted June 19, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 19, 2009 Ladybirds seem to be rarer than Leica red dots in the UK this year; I have yet to see a single one.
microview Posted June 19, 2009 Share #5 Posted June 19, 2009 Ladybirds seem to be rarer than Leica red dots in the UK this year; I have yet to see a single one. Probably all eaten last year by the superbug variant, which Jaap seems to have encountered – having sex! (Seen three or four in London, BTW.)
Shadow Blaster Posted June 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 21, 2009 You want ladybugs, come to Iowa. They feed on soybean plants and are so numerous that they invade everyone's house. We have mostly the Asian variety (orange shell) and they bite! They also smell when you squish them. I much prefer the more benign, red variety. John S.
