stuny Posted June 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2009 Bert - If the original file can stand it it might be worth while cropping to something like this:
Bertje Posted June 19, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted June 19, 2009 Bert - If the original file can stand it it might be worth while cropping to something like this: You are very quick Stuart. I was thinking almost the same. But I like to keep the guy on the left side. Thanks. Bert.
vdb Posted June 20, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 20, 2009 Cool moment. How about B&W to add a little abstraction:
Bertje Posted June 21, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted June 21, 2009 Thanks anyway VDB, but b/w is not really improving. Bert.
Mystic Posted June 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 21, 2009 The b/w version looks pretty nice.
Bertje Posted June 21, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted June 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) The b/w version looks pretty nice. Daniel, can you explane why? Its a terrible shot and I think I make the best out of it in colour. My opinion about the B/W, it looks very flat.( sorry VDB) The car is cut in half.( composition) The man who looked at the swan family is gone. So, a little bit of dramatic is gone. And at least, its not my picture any more . If you dislike the original, no problem and I'm open for criticism. Regards Bert.
Mystic Posted June 26, 2009 Share #8 Posted June 26, 2009 Yes, I can . I prefer the b/w version because it looks different, not like an ordinary picture should look like - abstact (and yes a little bit flat too) but I like it.
