azzo Posted November 10, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 10, 2006 This image needs to be cropped Richard, from the top just above the standing guy's head leaving the boy in the frame, from the right up untill nearly the hanging arm and most importantly from below up untill under the elbow of the man sitting on the right side. Best Azzo.
semrich Posted November 10, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted November 10, 2006 Azzo - Again, thank you for your comments and observations about how I can improve an image. In this case I viewed the crop as you suggested and agree that it improves the image, bringing more attention to the conversation and leaving enough of the surrounding context of them being carriage drivers engaged in their day. stuny Posted November 10, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 10, 2006 Richard - Cropped as Ivan proposes (which I could mimic on my PC) this is a terrific image with lovely tones, great faces, and interesting "action".
azzo Posted November 10, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 10, 2006 Am glad that you tried my suggestion Richard. It's your image and i liked it. It only needed some adjusments, that's all. Cropping when needed brings out the full potential in an image. And that's my only aim. Best Azzo
