Julian Thompson Posted June 21, 2009 Author Share #21 Posted June 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Kenneth that's unbelievably charitable of you - I'm up in Cheshire though so not so practical! However, I am going to dig out my Grandfather's Canon EOS 650 and lenses which I used to shoot as a 17 year old in school. I remember doing a bit of processing with it in the school darkroom with good results! Then, if I like it there do appear to be a couple of threads on here that might help me choose between the M7 and the MP :-)) Must resist. Must resist.... JBA Posted June 22, 2009 Share #23 Posted June 22, 2009 If you want auto exposure and a "wrong way" shutter speed dial, get the M7. If you want the best camera Leica has ever made, get the MP.

Great but save your money and buy an M6 Classic unless dedicated flash is your thing. For preferred WA to S.tele use= M6 0.72. For Preferred S to tele= M6 0.85. MP are a fine camera but price is a little prohibitive and really unnecessary unless you are out to impress Edited June 22, 2009 by kenneth
