Guntars G. Posted June 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone. I have a Leica IIIa, but the entire shutter mechanism is missing. It's a shame, because it's a realy nice camera, so I was wondering if it would be possible to get a new shutter for it or is it beyond repair? Regards Guntars
Advertisement Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Hi Guntars G., Take a look here Shutter change for Leica IIIa ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
earleygallery Posted June 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2009 Missing, how? A standard llla isn't worth a great deal and it will almost certainly cost more to repair than its worth. Someone like CRR Luton may be able to help you, if you really want to do it.
