stunsworth Posted June 14, 2009 Share #21 Posted June 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I guess people will not mind if I suggest putting the M9 full frame, the 12, 15 mm rumoured M lenses and the R10 on hold until the new Viso is fully investigated! The R10 has been cancelled. Your idea that Leica should suspend development of the M system until they've done a feasibility study on a new Visioflex is extraordinary, but then again not surprising. Good luck in your discussions. When you say Leica UK are setting up the call, do you mean they said they'll get back to you?

bybrett Posted June 14, 2009 Share #22 Posted June 14, 2009 I shall be communicating my thoughts to Rudolf Spiller (M product manager) and have made contact with Leica UK already who are setting up the call. If anything comes out of it I'll advise.. I guess people will not mind if I suggest putting the M9 full frame, the 12, 15 mm rumoured M lenses and the R10 on hold until the new Viso is fully investigated! Hi Frank, Rudy Spiller is the CEO... who did you speak to at Leica UK?? Cheers.
NZDavid Posted June 15, 2009 Share #23 Posted June 15, 2009 Frank, your original thread is still going strong! It's bizarre how many loops and tangents it generated. You cast your bread upon the waters and await the results... On the surface, a new Visoflex seems crazy -- but who knows, maybe it will fly?A new digital back, or even "digital film" as proposed a few years ago probably fit into this category -- and yet they would be genuinely useful products. Best of luck.
jaapv Posted June 15, 2009 Share #24 Posted June 15, 2009 On the surface, a new Visoflex seems crazy -- but who knows, maybe it will fly?. Now I saw a pig yesterday.. Ok Another story....

luigi bertolotti Posted June 15, 2009 Share #27 Posted June 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yea very happy to see this thread... it resembles me a famous film... "A volte ritornano" (english translation could be "Sometimes THEY came back"... it referred to zombies & co...) As a Visoflex passionate I'm really delighted to see one that really PLAYS HARD AND HARDER on its rjuvenation!!! Next suggestion could be a new Focoslide... after all we have all experienced some problem with M8's RF and super-luminous lenses....
jaapv Posted June 15, 2009 Share #28 Posted June 15, 2009 And then, the beautiful lens revolver and the folding sides universal lens-hood too! I have no images here, but maybe Luigi has them in his collection.
NZDavid Posted June 16, 2009 Share #29 Posted June 16, 2009 Very handsome indeed. Or how about a replica of a Leica prototype with a non self-capping shutter (if that is what it is called)? Or a L/E model celebrating a royal wedding?
