Advertisement Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Hi Proudfoot, Take a look here Those must have been the days. . .. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Max Alfy Posted June 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 12, 2009 Very nice capture Vic, and the D-Lux 4 is a remarkable camera with a lot of potential But on my screen the Rolls is somewhat dull. Only within Levels, I set the white and black points, and added light, and a tad of red. I trust this is more like you saw this beauty in its glory! . stuny Posted June 13, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 13, 2009 Vic - Beautiful car, setting and composition. I like what Max did, and probably would have done likewise.
Proudfoot Posted June 13, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted June 13, 2009 Max, thank you for your comment, I do like what you have done, silly thing is on a few of the other captures in this series I had applied similar adjustments but posted the above photo instead - note to self *drink and photography don't mix. Stuart, thank you for your kind remarks too
Mystic Posted June 14, 2009 Share #5 Posted June 14, 2009 Beautiful shot. This would be the perfect picture for an oltimer magazine.
azzo Posted June 15, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 15, 2009 Or maybe somewhere in between. Whichever, it's a beautiful capture Vic. Well done.
vdb Posted June 15, 2009 Share #7 Posted June 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice, all versions. If you convert to B&W you wont have to worry about getting the color 'right' Seriously, it would make an excellent B&W.
epand56 Posted June 18, 2009 Share #8 Posted June 18, 2009 Very elegant picture. I do prefer the original, would just add a little bit of light even if I do not really feel the urge. I love the dark red of the car and the colour of the building and windows.
giordano Posted June 19, 2009 Share #9 Posted June 19, 2009 stumbled upon this the other afternoon. Any info much appreciated. It's a Silver Ghost tourer from (I think) about 1912. Or a replica of same:)
