Zombie Posted June 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have recently bought a Leica D-Lux 4 and wanted to install the Capture One software, but got the blue screen of death and a fatal error causing the PC to restart. Jamie Roberts Posted June 11, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 11, 2009 Sounds like a cyclic redundancy error or something like that. Either the disc image is bad, or your CD / DVD device is flaky, or both. It's nothing to do with Capture One per se. I would download the program from Phase One and use the serial number that came with the CD (if it's on the cover). I suppose if that doesn't work you could ask them for a replacement disc, but I'd be checking out my hardware as well... Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Zombie Posted June 11, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted June 11, 2009 Yup, checked out my hardware. Disconnected the laptop from the docking station and it installed fine. Obviously a hardware conflict.
