EJohnE Posted August 16, 2009 Share #22 Posted August 16, 2009 Will try to add the previously posted PDF rather than try to find it. John. Tr- X-Rodinal_Push.pdf
Double Negative Posted August 16, 2009 Share #23 Posted August 16, 2009 ^ That worked - thank you, John! Do these times still apply to modern batches?
EJohnE Posted August 17, 2009 Share #24 Posted August 17, 2009 To "Double Negative", I have no idea if any formulation change has upset the ASA/ISO/times shown, as I have not been able to find Tri-X easily, and so have bought HP5+ which I have not yet run thru' the R3 or R8 'cos I've loaded FP4+. I would use a short length of film - say 12 exposure length as a first trial. I used to use fresh film for every job, and wander around checking the light levels before setting the ASA to suit them and the chart's conditions of lighting. If Rodinal is hard to come by (from a previous poster's suggestion): "Try Fomadon R09 or Maco R09 both the older formulation of Agfa Rodinal. Same dilution and times" Have a go, anyway, John.
