Good spot.

And as for Mr. Bunnell, I think Pentax are another great company who prefer to focus on actually enjoying a camera rather than stuffing it with the latest tech for the sake of it (e.g. full frame).

"Updates from the first iteration include cleaner high iso and aperture priority"???? News to me..... I wasn't informed of those upgrades. I surely would have included them along with the framelines and shutter upgrade I did to my first gen M8. :p

Yeah, full frame is so frilly. I really hate having my 35mm digital camera behave like a 35mm camera.

WTF????

I never claimed it was accurate.

But A mode = aperture priority I guess.

Compared to the very first samples of the M8 a whole range of image quality issues have been dealt with (except high-ISO noise).

Well, yes of course, A is Aperture Priority but they were writing as if an Aperture Priority is some physical object like a lens having an Aperture Ring.

Clearly, the person who put this together didn't know anything.

I like the comment about "Pure Glass" as well...

pure glass = pure cr.p

How about the 150 years is that right? I can't find when E.Leitz optische werke was founded, maybe 1849 but I am not sure. If so shouldn't we have seen the 160years special edition of something?

The E.Leitz memorial M9 would do the trick:D

Nice also that they speak of the "new iteration" M8.2 and display a M8 ... but with a fine black dot... :)

If you look at the M8 in the article's photograph, note the sheen of the the black paint unique to the M8.2 compared to the attached image of my M8 that has the matte finish black chrome with the black dot. They may not know the facts but they did use the correct camera.
