A question though, and don't get me wrong, I'm trying to understand beyond the basics! Was it necessary to go to HDR? The dynamic range of these photos could fall within the normal limits, I think. I can see that the result is awesome. So in othre words: was it the artist side or the technical side that made you decide to go for HDR in these cases?
