M8 accessory availability

I ordered from Leica Berlin because they were at least listing the items - camera protector, neoprene wrap for times when the camera is tossed into a week-end bag, the wide camera strap and of course the grip. Some are in, but not all but they expect them by the end of November.

I think one or more spare batteries are going to be essential. Granted, you use the LCD a lot when getting to know a camera but my first charge lasted no time at all and it's quite slow to recharge.

what is available yet ? batteries, handgrip ?

have a nice day,

I saw the grip on the shelf of Leica Berlin yesterday. It is a full-round grip, as opposed to the half-round grip depicted for the film Ms in the M-System booklet.

I've read that current Li Ion batteries need about three full charge/discharge cycles to start working at full capacity. Let us know how it does after the third cycle. (And don't cheat and rush out to shoot with a half-charged battery :<).
