newyorkone Posted November 3, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 3, 2006 Nice shots. Very film-like images and really shows off Leica lens fingerprints well. Your shots are from earlier firmware but look to be the best that I have seen so far. Did you post process with Capture1? If not, what was your workflow? Thanks! Rona!d Posted November 3, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted November 3, 2006 Postprocessing partly with C1 LE, partly PS CS with some minor color-corrections due to missing color profile for the M8 that time back in August. (firmware was something like V0.25 or V0.26! VERY early one)

humanized_form Posted November 3, 2006 Share #8 Posted November 3, 2006 these are the nicest color pictures i have seen so far from the M8. say... what do you think of the M8 metering? from your experience was the metering accurate or was it necessary to constantly dial in exposure comp after reviewing histogram? i'm curious if the M8 metering behaves similarly to say an M7 when using slide film. i find the M7 metering to be very accurate, especially in auto mode with the stepless shutter speeds. thanks! kevin
