A outra margem...

Tim, no, the only filter I use with the D2 is the "protecting" UV. And no PS (Gimp) trick neither, the fantastic light of Lisbon seduced many times my sensor... ;-)

this is very well done. I would like to see this printed at A3. In some ways, the more you can do in camera the better, because there is this magical feeling that somehow the camera made the shot too - this was very true with film, where you would have a roll of twelve shots (in my case) and one would just shine out from the negs before you had even printed it. It is good that the same magic still happens with digital cameras.

Thank you all.

John, you're right about the "magic"... I was surprised to feel it after a hole of more than 25 years in my photographic activity... and with digital stuff.

Klaus, happy to see you crossed the river too ;-)

Stuart, this type of image is always a combination between what one saw and what the lens captured... Sometimes they are big (and good) surprises. ;-)

Gepetto, the Tagus River IS large in Lisbon... The largest bridge across it is Vasco da Gama's, with a total length of 17.2 km. ;-)

Cheers,

Gérald
