icoppieters Posted April 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear dlux 4 enthousiasts, I understand the d-lux 4 brilliant viewfinder has a 24mm view. What to do when you zoom to let's say 50 mm? And what to do if you switch to 16:9 ? regards,
Advertisement Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Hi icoppieters, Take a look here D-lux 4 viewfinder and zoom. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ken_tanaka Posted April 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2009 The external viewfinders, Leica's and others', are completely "dumb" devices that cannot show you what the lens sees. They can also not inform you of the camera's status. They're just lumps. In my opinion it's a waste of money from most practical perspectives. bbodine9 Posted April 23, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2009 I use the Hoodloupe with the Sigma DP1 to look at the lcd to frame and focus. It should work for you on the D-Lux 4 as well. They give you 30 days to try it.
