Mauribix Posted May 6, 2009 Share #42 Posted May 6, 2009 I will wait for a movie based on the life of Elsa Schiapparelli. Who knows, she could probably use a camera like this... obviously Shocking Pink! Welcome, dear visitor! rob_w Posted May 6, 2009 Share #43 Posted May 6, 2009 Quite simple, 80 % of french cinema is pure garbage (half mimicking the worst of american movies, not the great ones, half recounting poor totally boring bourgeois stories). Apart from Amelie -- which surely must be in the remaining 20% of non-garbage/wonderful movies? -- Audrey Tatou is also the star of Priceless (2006) which is probably the best light comedy made since the era of Cary Grant. Highly recommend the movie -- funny, glamorous and clever. What has this to do with Leica? Nothing, of course. Although how a girl who not only owns a Leica but also a 75 or 90 'cron (when we figure it out) AND loves the novels of Paul Auster, could possibly want to be associated with the Da Vinci code -- well that is one of life's mysteries! Cheers Robert

What do you think of the camera?! Any M8s in 1910? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Actualy the film is not about Chanels life it is though a Chanel advert directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet (Amelie and A Very Long Engagement both films starring Audrey) - set in Istanbul and aboard the Orient Express - and not actually filmed on the famous train but on set and on location - and I have this actual camera and the 90mm F2 which was given to her by Jean and used by her for her personal use thereafter - I acquired it through some 'connections' and interestingly the film is all about missed opportunity and 'connections' apt I would say
