pop Posted April 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Each day our neighbours puts their cat outside. Whenever the weather is less than ideal - which is practically every day - the cat heads like a bee for our living room. Usually, we get our remote control back after some haggling. stuny Posted April 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 19, 2009 Very cute cat and pose. I think it would benefit from a little sharpening.

SJP Posted April 20, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 20, 2009 This is a majorly possesive cat... Nice picture! However I agree with Stuart about the slight sharpening.
pop Posted April 21, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted April 21, 2009 Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate your feedback. I am momentarily at a loss about the loss of sharpness. The original looks not overwhelmingy but still reasonably sharp to me. The fuzzyness appears to be introduced either by rescaling or by uploading the image. Food for thought and a couple of experiments. Does anyone know of a tool which measures the sharpness of an image?

pauledell Posted June 6, 2009 Share #7 Posted June 6, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very cute cat and pose. I think it would benefit from a little sharpening. I agree with Stuart. Nice colors and composition. Looks like the cat had the canary for lunch and is ready for a nap. Paul
pop Posted June 7, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted June 7, 2009 Paul and Steve - thank you for looking. Having learned the reason why the picture is so blurred, here's one which does more justice to the D-Lux 3. BTW, our family's nickname for the cat is Papageno, for some reason.
